Typewritten letter sent by the Imperial War Graves Commission to Miss M. Davidson of 37 Canterbury Street, South Shields, dated 26 March 1958. The letter apologises for a mistake made in a letter sent the previous day (TWCMS 2009.2502) in which it was stated that Lance Corporal James Davidson is commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial, when in fact his name appears on the Rangoon Memorial. The letter is associated with Lance Corporal James Davidson of South Shields, brother of the letter's recipient.
